國民黨立委、首長今（18）日持續到南投，與立委游顥一同前往竹山掃街拜票，展現全國團結反惡罷的氣勢。游顥在回應媒體提問時，強烈譴責罷免團體的不當行徑，指出罷團近期不僅變造文宣、誤導民眾，甚至大規模剪掉反罷免布條，以低級手法欺騙選民，嚴重踐踏民主價值。
基隆市長謝國樑今日晚間親赴南投參加反罷免造勢晚會，與立委黃建賓、楊瓊瓔、南投市長張嘉哲，以及多位縣議員、代表、里長和地方鄉親齊聚。謝國樑指出，游顥上任以來，不僅積極推動地方建設，更成功爭取重大經費。他特別點出3項成果，包括爭取10多億元治水預算，改善地方長年積水問題；爭取5億元經費，推動清水溝排水幹線工程；最重要的是促成138億元統籌分配款，為南投縣財政注入關鍵資源。
謝國樑強調，「這樣認真打拚的立法委員，卻遭民進黨操作罷免，這公平嗎？」現場鄉親也熱烈回應「不公平」，氣氛高昂。他進一步指出，一個城市、一個縣市的建設需要時間才能看到成效，就像游顥雖然已拚命打拚，但仍需要更多時間展現成果，「罷免不是民主監督，而是政治霸凌」。
游顥則表示，有罷團抄襲並變造服務處及國民黨的文宣，刻意將「不同意罷免」字樣刪除，混淆為「同意罷免」，甚至連南投7鄉鎮的反罷布條，已有7、8成遭剪除並換成罷免布條，「這在南投選舉史上從未見過！」
「一場罷免若要靠這種骯髒的小偷行徑，這不是民主，而是汙辱民主。」游顥痛斥，這些手法已涉嫌違法，目前已報案處理，並強調自己從政以來始終以政績與理念面對選民，不會與罷團的卑劣手法為伍。他呼籲，民主應是理念的辯論，而非低級的攻擊與欺騙，拜託南投鄉親在823投票日用選票守護民主，「投下不同意罷免，制止這場摧毀民主價值的鬧劇」。
另外，黃建賓今日除力挺游顥外，也將焦點放在全國能源政策，痛批政府推動風電計畫程序不透明，嚴重破壞東海岸景觀。他強調，台灣需要的是「乾淨、便宜、穩定」的電力，而非錯誤的政策，並呼籲政府正視核能與能源問題。
黃建賓拜託南投鄉親共同聲援，在8月23日投下「不同意罷免」票，支持最優質的游顥，讓政府聽見人民的聲音。
